Up-to-date information on all types of cancer, with practical advice and support for patients, their families and carers. The breast cancer section gives information about symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and after treatment.

This United States government site gives information about all types of cancer. The breast cancer section explains treatment in simple medical terms and describes current research.

5. www.komen.org
Information and resources for patients, friends and families. Includes diagnosis, treatment, life after treatment, and survivors’ stories. The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation supports innovative breast cancer research.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer is a site for all women with breast cancer, but particularly young survivors. It provides transcripts of lectures given at breast
cancer conferences, and also includes messages boards and links.

An American website that provides information, news, chat forums and personal stories relating to lymph edema.

An Australian website that provides information about lymph edema.

MAMM is a print magazine that was launched in the United States in 1997 to meet the needs of women with breast cancer and reproductive cancer. You can read back articles on this website.

Offers a wealth of information, including sections on “Decision Making” (about treatment choices, doctors etc), “Living with Cancer,” and “Taking Charge of Your
Health.” Answers hundreds of frequently asked questions and provides links to hundreds of websites. The Susan Love MD Breast Cancer Research Foundation is
dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer.

A not-for-profit organization that uses communication technology to reach every person touched by cancer. The “Group Room” allows people from all walks of life
and in any physical condition to meet online, talk, exchange information and speak in a unified voice about the cancer experience.

The Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization website allows you to download their publications, including “Every Women’s Guide to Breast Cancer,” which is for
newly diagnosed women. The website also includes practical tips for daily living with breast cancer and information about treatment options.
